Although all human beings are exclusively either male or female, the self aware person understands that gender doesn’t just take form on the physical mundane level of sex. However gender takes form on the higher frequencies of; the mental and spiritual planes also. As I always reiterate, with all of us being spiritual beings having this human being experience, a key part to our growth in this lifetime is for us to grasp the full essence of our being. Within all humans exist both Masculine and Feminine energy; every man has feminine energy and every female has masculine energy. Once we can understand the dual energies within us all, we are moving closer to not only reaching our full potential, but discover true self-mastery.
The left brain is masculine, it’s our ability to be: analytical, rational, logical, conscious, direct and external. We all have a side of us that applies these energies in our everyday lives. The power isn’t in the energy themselves, but in the application of them. For example, a positive way for us to embody and embrace our masculine (left brain) energy is for us to be direct in the appropriate situations, to incorporate long-term thinking in our decision making, and to have structured plans for our visions. Our left brain thrives when we operate with structure and logic, it focuses on our external reality; our environment, situations, our conscious mind and any forces which are external to our being. With the right application, we can embody our masculine energy to: help us achieve our long-term goals, build structure to our lives and have the ideal external circumstances we want for our lives. This is the key to embodying our masculine (left brain) energy, on the spiritual and mental planes of our existence.
The right brain is Feminine, it’s our ability to: have visions, be creative, imaginative, intuitive, dream and inspire. As I’ve already explained, the power is in the application of these energies. To embody our feminine energy, we have to tap in to our creative abilities; we all have a creative outlet we can shine in. Whether it be, music, arts, sports; creativity is spirituality at its highest level. This is because it connects you directly to the essence of your being, the passion that lives inside of you, which makes you uniquely you. We all are a creative power, we were born to create and your creativity is waiting to come out in the form of expression through you. Along with our creativity is our ability to visualise; which is the expression of our internal reality. The right brain deals with our internal state of being; which is our feelings/ emotions and our intuition. To incorporate our feminine (right brain) energy in our everyday lives, we must have a vision for ourselves to move towards; and feel the emotions of that reality in the present moment. This is the key to embodying our feminine (right brain) energy, on the spiritual and mental planes of our existence.
Although both masculine and feminine energy are exclusively powerful on their own, true self-mastery is obtained when we can learn the art of channeling both of these energies together. To best illustrate this let’s use a book as an example. An author who’s written a book, had to find the perfect balance between creatively portraying their message to the reader in writing, while still having a structure to their message for the reader to follow from chapter to chapter. Here is a clear example of how both masculine (left brain) energy and feminine (right brain) energy, come together on the mental and spiritual planes of the author’s existence; to result in the physical manifestation of a book. The same applies to your favourite album or movie as well. The key is channeling your visions and creative energy, with your ability to plan and apply structure to your vision, in order to result in the balancing of the dual energies within you; which is the practice of Alchemy (creation).
From the example above, having self awareness will bring everything full circle for you. Since we’re all spiritual beings at our true essence, our masculine energy and feminine energy clearly takes form on higher planes of our existence; being the spiritual and mental planes. Through our ability and willingness to learn how to cultivate both dual energies within us, we can not only become more creative in our everyday lives, but we can create the life we want for ourselves to experience; by being a visionary and becoming the alchemist.
